Variable is the portfolio of Jared M. Scott, an independent software engineer
and consultant. I work hand-in-hand with engineering teams to design and ship
web and mobile products in B2B and B2C markets.

## My mission

Around two decades of building what matters. I work directly with customers to
design and build web and mobile products. My focus is SaaS for B2B and B2B-to-B2C
markets, with around two decades of experience architecting software across AdTech,
FinTech, and Health & Fitness. I integrate into a customer's engineering team
and build things that are functional, well-designed, and stay maintainable
long after I'm gone.

   Structure Institutional (TSI), a B2B crypto trading platform for
   fixed-rate and fixed-term markets.
2. [Crypto DeFi Borrow & Lend Platform for Professionals](/projects/ts-pro-defi-platform).
   Term Structure Pro: three micro-apps for professional DeFi traders, NX
   monorepo, GitLab CI/CD, WebSocket + REST APIs.
3. [Term Structure Admin Console](/projects/term-structure-admin). Protocol
   admin tool covering wallet management, protocol rollback, token
   management, system overview, and RBAC.
4. [Term Structure Corporate Website](/projects/term-structure-website).
   Redesigned and rebuilt the corporate site in Next.js + Tailwind to lift
   adoption and align with the product's design language.
5. [Term Structure Protocol Leaderboard](/projects/protocol-leaderboard).
   Points-based cryptocurrency leaderboard incentivizing platform usage with
   real-time ranking and wallet connectivity.
6. [Multi-touch Marketing Analytics Platform](/projects/convertro). Convertro's
   B2B marketing analytics platform, designed from the ground-up to be
   functional and visually polished.
7. [GDPR Implementation on Existing Platform](/projects/gdpr). Backported
   GDPR compliance onto Convertro's existing stack in roughly a month using
   API Gateway and Lambda.
8. [Patient / Provider Solution for Physical Therapy](/projects/physical-therapy).
   End-to-end physical therapy solution for Dyaco and Philips covering
   embedded software, mobile apps, web apps, backend, and data warehousing.
9. [Incrementality-based Marketing Analytics solution](/projects/incrementality).
   Architecting and building from scratch a fully serverless marketing
   analytics solution for advertisers using Angular, Node, Redshift, and
   ElasticSearch.
